pCubee: Stunning Realtime 3D effects with No Glasses

Filed in TechSpot 0 comments

You guys must have seen the Samsung LED 3D TV ads on Television right? People stacking up TVs and playing a video where it shows the depth and ultra-clarity of actually feeling there is depth or that the object in the image is superficial to the screen. The ‘Fish Tank’ Ad and the ‘Cat on the building’. Well, when I saw it the first time, i couldn’t digest it almost immediately. It can be possible, but to my thoughts, not much to the level though show in the ad ofcourse. 😛

Well, this ‘thing’ I am going to talk about is a cube made of 6 LED 3D screens, helping you into a world of perceived depth, real time physics and simulation. Super-Amazed really.

What is Cubee?
Cubee is an interactive cubic fish tank VR display system that enables viewing from around all the screens. Its perspective-corrected rendering and real-time physics simulation establish an interaction metaphor of having real objects inside a physical box that a user can manipulate.

pCubee is a “personal” Cubee display that is light and compact enough to be held in one hand. We are building Cubees of different sizes for different applications.
