‘QueryExplorer’ error on Google Chrome -SOLVED

Filed in TechSpot 0 comments

I found this error on my friend’s system and I thought I did log it here after I got to solve it.

When he tried to search on the Google Chrome browser’s address bar (which supports search results direct connection), He was taken to a page that comes from QueryExplorer.com and it doesn’t show results too. More like misdirecting.

Its a Malware and it can be removed like this. (In Win7 and Vista)

Start > Control Panel> Programs and Feature> (Look for) Query Explorer> Uninstall.

You will be asked for a reboot but that won’t be necessary.
